Next week, ZeroAvia will be at the Aerospace Technology Institute conference at the NEC in Birmingham (UK) on 14th and 15th November. We will have a small stand in the conference hall, so if you are coming along, please do fill out the form below and arrange a time to meet with us.
At the conference, we’ll be displaying some of our technology for the first two planned ZeroAvia engines – the ZA600 designed for 9-19 seat aircraft with a 2025 certification target, and ZA2000, designed for 40-90 seat regional turboprops with a 2027 certification target.
With the ZA600 prototype already tested in flight and the certification campaign gathering pace, it is a good time to reflect on the big engineering challenges required to get engines (like ZA2000) ready for the larger regional turboprops. Our ground testing of the HyperCore motor this year and the development of high temperature PEM fuel cells are both key technology bricks that can unlock fuel cell propulsion for larger regional turboprops, jets and beyond. We’ll be showcasing some of the exciting technology that will make a transition to clean flight possible at scale.
In addition to our presence on the floor, Gabriele Teofili, ZeroAvia’s UK Managing Director, will also share his expertise during the ATI Project Deep Dives on Day 2 at 1.30PM GMT. Gabriele will give an in-depth summary of our HyFlyer II project, supported by the ATI, Innovate UK, and BEIS, all aimed at accelerating the adoption of hydrogen-electric aviation. This is a programme that we’re proud was recognised as one of the UK Jet Zero Strategy’s six key achievements in the first year of the Council, a big success for both ourselves and the ATI.
If you plan to be in Birmingham at the event, please get in touch and set up time to talk.
