    Propulsion

    Propulsion

Modular, light-weight, aviation-optimized hydrogen fuel cell system allowing seamless integration into UAV platforms.

Industry-leading power density enables high performance characteristics. Developed underneath ZeroAvia’s Design Organization Approval.

    Mission Systems Power

    Mission Systems Power

Packages SuperStack Flex with gaseous hydrogen storage for a drop-in power solution to meet variety of electrical power needs.

Decoupling electrical power from main engine operation provides onboard power to support power-hungry payload such as ISR and C-UAS.

    Operational Advantage

Innovations in uncrewed systems are disrupting the way wars are fought and the way in which they will be won.

Hydrogen fuel cells offer significantly longer operational times/ranges and faster turnarounds compared to traditional battery technologies, as well as delivering reduced detectability and lower maintenance and operational costs compared to combustion-powered alternatives.

    Lower Detectability

Total elimination of jet engine noise, reducing noise levels by up to 85%. Operating at much lower temperatures than typical UAV jet engines, with exhausts three times cooler and up to 80 times lower IR radiation.

    Extended Endurance

According to ZeroAvia analysis, re-engining a Class III (large) strategic high-altitude intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISR)/strike drone with a hydrogen-electric propulsion system can extend the envelope of the existing aircraft.

    Fuel Resilience

Containerized hydrogen production systems enable in-theater and disaggregated fuel generation, reducing reliance on vulnerable and high cost supply chains and enhancing operational autonomy.

    Enhanced Electrical Power

Efficient mission systems power provided by self-contained fuel cell system and hydrogen fuel tank housed in MIL-SPEC integrations. Supporting AESA radar, ISR systems, countermeasures & directed energy.
